Westridge Golf Academy featuring CLUB FIX
Interested in improving your game, lowering your handicap, and ultimately having more fun? The Westridge Golf Academy has the right Golf Professional suited for your game and target level of improvement. At the Westridge Golf Academy we are partnered with CLUB FIX, Golf Digest Top 100 Club Fitters, which brings PGA/LPGA Tour Professional Level club fitting and custom club building services specified to help you find what works for your swing.

After testing thousands of golf clubs from leading manufacturers (CLUB FIX tests shaft flex, kick point, torque, loft, lie angle, length, and face angle), we have found that only 1 of every 10 golf clubs is actually what it is labeled to be. The other 9 clubs do not match the specs that are painted or engraved on them. This means that most golf shafts and club heads perform differently than they advertise. These tests allow us to identify the exact specs of each golf club. We then take the care to build each of your clubs to match the produced results from your fitting sessions. We are dedicated to providing the most accurate information and the best results for every golfer.

All fittings are by appointment only and can be booked through Peter Dalkas, Director of Golf at pdalkas@westridgegolfclub.com or (949)280-8423.

Alhambra Golf Course Driving Range

The Alhambra Practice Center was the first three-level practice range constructed in the United States. We are open seven days until 11p.m. winter months/12 midnight summer months, with plenty of parking just a few steps away. Two chipping greens, large putting green and a practice bunker are all lighted for night time use.

Our tee structure provides three distinct practice environments. The upper level is actually at the clubhouse and parking elevation which eliminates the ‘high rise fee’. A player can have the sunshine and blue sky while enjoying a full view of the entire landing area that an elevated tee provides. Our mid-level provides protection from the sun and rain and a great view of the target area. This level is popular on the warm summer days to escape the heat of the direct sun. The lower level provides an `on the fairway feel'. This level is a smoke free environment for non-smokers and preferred by parents with their junior golfers.

We offer the best artificial-turf mats available and provide a variety of mat designs to meet the preferences of any player. Our tee stations are spacious and each has an individual tee divider to provide a private practice area.

Sahalee Country Club Driving Range & Practice Facilities

Practice Facilities

Sahalee Country Club boasts outstanding practice facilities on which to hone your skills for the challenges faced on our three 9-hole golf courses.

Our driving range includes 28 individual tees, both regular and artificial turf, and is 270 yards in length. It includes a practice bunker to the right of the tee for long iron and short iron practice. Range balls are full flight top of the line golf balls which are replaced twice a year.

The pitching green includes a greenside bunker and provides a great venue to practice greenside bunker shots and most pitches up to 50 yards.

The short game green allows you to work on all the chip shots you'll encounter in your short game around the greens of Sahalee.

World Wood Golf Club Driving Range/Practise Park

Practice Park
World Woods Golf Club has an extensive Practice Park that is the anchor of a Practice Facility ranked by Golf Magazine as the "Best practice facility in the USA" It is a massive, circular, twenty-acre range with grass teeing stallions on four sides arranged in a North, South, East, and West manner. The arrangement provides a wide variety of target greens, target fairways, and practice bunkers of both native and white sand.

3 Practice Holes
Before teeing off on one of the Championship Courses, loosen up on the 3 Practice Holes that have been designed to "warm-up" your entire game. This stretch of Practice Holes includes a Par 5, a Par 4, and a Par 3 and provides an excellent opportunity to get your worst golf out of the way before every stroke counts during your round.

Iron Range
Centered between the first tees of the two Championship Courses, the Iron Range is the perfect spot to work the kinks or get that last warm-up shots in before heading out for your round.

Putting Course
A two-acre putting course provides a uniquely entertaining challenge for golfers to work on their putting. The thirty-six separate target holes offer an unending variety of putts to attempt. Also, the undulation of surface mimics the greens on the course so that you can properly prepare for your round.

Olympia Fields Country Club Driving Range

Driving Range
Members love spending time on the 20 acre range trying to perfect their game. While Olympia Fields has always had a driving range, significant investment has been made in recent years to building teeing areas on both sides of the range, putting in top grade astroturf that can be used on wet, rainy days and the creation of 7 target greens which allows you to truly work on all clubs. The range is staffed by a member of the Golf Department to ensure balls are stocked, ice cold water is available and any other need are met.

Short Game Area (to open in Summer 2013)
This area is the most recent addition to our property which is going to be a huge hit for those trying to perfect their short game. This 4 acre space will contain 3 target greens which will accept chips from 80 yards and in. It will also be a perfect place to master your sand game as there will be ample types of lies, lengths of shots, and approach difficulty.

Practice Greens
3 putting greens are placed near our North and South 1st tee boxes which stand for a great place to warm up for your round or to spend hours honing the perfect putting stroke. These greens are always kept in excellent condition and provide multiple types of slopes, breaks, distances and speeds from which to practice.
